A Swagoraimo piece is made to be lived in for years, not seasons. These are the house rituals that keep every garment as remarkable as the day it arrived.
Garment Care
Each Swagoraimo piece is crafted from carefully selected materials and deserves the same devotion after it leaves the atelier. Always consult the woven care label first — it is written specifically for your piece. When in doubt, less intervention is always better.
Washing Recommendations
We recommend gentle hand-washing in cool water or a delicate machine cycle inside a wash bag, using mild detergent. Turn garments inside out to protect prints and embroidery, never wring, and always air-dry flat away from direct sunlight. Avoid bleach and tumble drying entirely.
Storage
Store knitwear and heavy pieces folded — never on hangers — to preserve their shape. Tailoring and outerwear belong on broad, shaped hangers inside breathable garment bags. Keep pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and allow them room to breathe.
Repair & Maintenance
Loose threads, buttons or minor wear should be addressed early — a small repair today preserves a piece for years. Our Concierge can advise on trusted repair practices for your specific garment, and guide you through any care concern personally.
Premium Materials
Silk, cashmere, fine knits and leather each ask for their own ritual: silk prefers cold water and no twisting; cashmere rests folded and is de-pilled gently with a cashmere comb; leather is kept away from water and conditioned sparingly. Treat rare materials as you would jewellery.
Longevity
Rotate your pieces rather than wearing the same garment daily, air them after wear instead of over-washing, and address stains immediately with a gentle dab — never rub. Luxury is not only acquired; it is maintained.
